The Hassan chapter was inaugurated on 15-12-2021. During this programme and General body meeting, President of IAT, Bangalore Prof. Veerabhadraiah, Vice President Dr. Eshawarappa G, Secretary Sri. Sri. Veeranna Kamatar, R. Ramamurthy and Sri. Siddalingappa were presented. The office bearers of the Regional Chapter Hassan also selected unanimously during this programme. The Dr. S.N Vasudevan, Dean (Agri.), College of Agriculture, Hassan selected as President, Sri K.H Ravi, Joint Director of Agriculture, KSDA, Hassan as Vice President, Sri. The Farmers Day was celebrated in College of Agriculture, Hassan on 23-12-2021 in collaboration with the College of Agriculture, Hassan, Zuari Farm Hub, Hassan, Bhoomi Bhadudku Prathisthana, Hassan and Bio Fuel Park. Madenuru. The programme was presided by Dr. S. N Vasudevan, Dean (Agri.) and President of IAT, regional Chapter, Hassan and programme was inaugurated by Dr. Malleshgowda H.L, President of District Kannada Sahithya Parishath, Hassan. The chief guest of the programme were Sri. Krishnegowda, President, District Krushika samaja, Dr. Vijaya Prakash Hegde, Agri. Entrepreneur, Sakleshpura, Dr. K.K Singh, Head, R & D, Zuari Farm Hub ltd, Bangalore. Sri. Mosale N Manjunath, President, Bhoomi Bhaduku Prathisthana, Hassan & Secretory, IAT, Regional Chapter, Hassan and Dr Yogeesh H.R, Deputy Director of Horticulture, Hassan and other members of the IAT Hassan chapter were participated. During this programme 3 Farmers were honoured for their achievements in the field Agriculture.
The programme was organized by College of Agriculture, Hassan and IAT, regional chapter, Hassan on 08-03-2022 at College campus. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Nanjundegowda N.R, Director of Kannada film Industry and Smt. Vinutha, Professor of English, Kalpatharu First Grade college, Tiptur and programme was presided by Dr. S. N Vasudevan, Dean (Agri.) and President of IAT, Regional Chapter, Hassan. During this programme Sri. Mosale N Manjunath, Secretory of IAT, Hassan Chapter, Dr. Yogeesh H.R, Deputy Director of Horticulture, Hassan and member of IAT, Hassan Chapter and other members were participated. In the programme National award and women empowerment and concern movie Hebbettu Ramakka was telecasted.
As per the guidelines of central government, the programme was organized at College of Agriculture, Hassan on 31-03-2022. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Suresh C, Assistant Professor (Political Science), Govt. First Grade college for women, Holenaraispuara and presided by Dr. S. N Vasudevan, Dean (Agri.) and President of IAT, Regional Chapter, Hassan. During the programme the information on Centenary of Parliament Democracy and Electoral system of India was discussed with the students of the college.
The programme was organized in College of Agriculture, Hassan on 05-06-2022 at College campus. The programme was inaugurated by planting the tree by Padmashree awardee Smt. Salumarada Thimmakka and programme was presided by Dr. S. N Vasudevan, Dean (Agri.) and President of IAT, Regional Chapter, Hassan. Around 100 plants of different species were planted during the programme.
The camps were organized between 12 th and 15 th, September, 2022 in the 6 villages of Arsikere, Taluk viz., T.Kodihalli, Jyothimallapura, Thalaluru, Thalaluthore, Kunaghattanahalli and M. Habbanghatta in collaboration with College of Agriculture, Hassan, Rajeev Ayurveda college, Hassan and Department of Health and family welfare, Arsikere. During the programme, 918 farmers from all 6 villages were tested BP, Sugar & other minor diseases and they were also provided with medicines.
The camps were organized between 10 th and 15 th -Oct.2022 in the 6 villages of Arsikere, Taluk viz., T.Kodihalli, Jyothimallapura, Thalaluru, Thalaluthore, Kunaghattanahalli and M. Habbanghatta in collaboration with College of Agriculture, Hassan, Veterinary college, Hassan, Alumni Association, UAS, Bangalore, and Department of Animal Husbandry, Arsikere. During the programme in all 6 villages around 879 live stocks were vaccinated and treated and also provided with medicines.

N Vasudevan, Dean (Agri.) and President of IAT, regional Chapter, Hassan and programme was inaugurated by Prof. Shivaraju, Trustee, Kasturbha Gandhi National Memorial Trust, Arasikere and in his inaugural address focussed on the role of Farmers in Indian food security. The chief guests of the programme were Smt. Kavitha, State level Canara Bank best farm women and district level best farm women awardee and Sri. Manjegowda, District level best farmer awardee and Dr. Raje gowda, Senior Scientist & Head, ICAR-KVK, Hassan. During the programme, both the awardees were felicitated and around 400 students and farmers were attended the programme
