Report on Animal Health Camp under Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme 2022-23

Animal health campaign and tree planting was organised in Haniyur village Bangalore north taluk. Sri Kamtar Secretary IAT has inaugurated programme. Dr B Krishnamurthy Joint Secretary IAT has organised the programme in collaboration with UAS Bangalore.

As a part of Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme (RAWEP) under Student READY Programme sponsored by Alumni Association, UAS, Hebbal, Bengaluru – 560 024 Animal Health Camp was organized in 18 RAWEP villages of Tumkur, Ramanagar, Chikkaballapura and Bengaluru Rural Districts. In this programme faculty of Gynecologists of College of Veterinary, Hebbal, Bengaluru – 560 065, KMF Veterinary Doctors and State Department of Veterinary were involved in the programme. During this camp the animals were dewormed, treated and vaccinated; precautions were given to the owners of the animals. In this process RAWEP students helped the Doctors and Farmers by handling the animals with utmost care, dewormed and mineral mixtures distributed for better management of the animals.
